It's Been A While…

…21 days to be exact, it’s not that I couldn’t be bothered, just that nothing has happened.

So where do I start?

There’s been college, nothing much has happened there, photographed some grapes which was almost too exciting but I managed to contain my excitement somehow.

Last Friday The Clothes Show Live started, we had a stand there for B magazine, we had to photograph people who have had makeovers and put them onto a cover of B magazine. I arranged to work Saturday and Monday, I offered to work Friday too because Jo had been in an accident 2 days before but she was ok to work.

When I started on Saturday I was half asleep as I had been up since 6am but in the end after a sandwich and a bottle of Coke I woke up, I was putting the photos onto the magazine covers and printing them off within the hour, we were so busy though that we couldn’t keep up and ended up having to post some of the covers.

All day long we had drum n bass and Nelly playing really loud as well as Kylie's new song, Destiny's Child, Redman, Scissor Sistors, Razorlight and very oddly Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey.

The bloke who was helping us was a bit of a perv, he kept making dirty comments about everyone who posed for their photos, he ended up getting chatted up by these 2 middle aged women so he let me go early. As I left I was in such a hurry for the bus that not looking where I was going I ran straight into the model Erin O’Connor and almost sent her flying.

Monday we weren’t as busy and everything went pretty much ok until we had an argument with a model, she had a makeover and wanted her photo taken, she said she wouldn’t smile because she’s a model and models don’t smile, and her friend who was rather on the chubby side kept complaining that all her photos made her look fat, maybe that’s because she is fat.

Just lately I’ve been speaking to this girl called Claire, she studies photography too at Falmouth but is from Plymouth, she’s really nice and we have tonnes in common, all being well I should be seeing her soon.

…god I hate Kasabian…
