Shoot Your Gun…

It’s been quite a while since I last blogged, partly because I wrote one blog a week or so ago and forgot to upload it.

Anyway time for an update…

Money is slightly better now, got my cheque, I can afford to eat again now. The pressures been on with my college work though, all my advertising work has to be in next Tuesday so I’ve been tearing my hair out a bit over that.

The week when I was waiting for my cheque to clear was a bit boring, got my waterfall photos developed though and they turned out really well, rekindled my love affair with Subway, Jazz broke the parking ticket machine in Touchwood twice in 2 days which was rather funny, and that was about it.

The next week I decided I needed to get away from all this coursework so I started to go out again but I decided to make things a bit more fun I’d bring my camera with me to capture the moment. I now have lots of photos of people covering their faces and looking startled.

I might start an online photo album and put up some of the photos I’ve taken, although my photography website is almost ready to go online, I just have to add a few things and it will be up and running.

Been having a bit of a worrying time with my Nan just recently, I wont go into it in any detail on here as it wouldn’t seem right to do so just yet, I’ll see what happens first.

Just to clear things up with the whole Claire situation just in case anyone was wondering (just in case anyone actually reads this thing), she wanted us to stay friends because she said she wants to stay single so she can focus on her work, however her idea of friends involves us not talking again, although she did talk to me the other week to tell me that she was just watching a film with her ex and things ‘got a bit weird’, she’s such a thoughtful caring bitch!

For the past month or so I’ve had my sister’s old wardrobe in the middle of my room, she bought a new one which is the size of a house so needed to dump her old one somewhere, it got put in my room because my mum was getting rid of her old one and was going to have this one but now my mum decides she wants to wallpaper her room and isn’t ready for it yet, so I’m stuck with this thing, it really gets in the way, so far I’ve managed to put my head and my arse through the back of it (not at the same time) while trying to get past it.

After my mum’s old wardrobe was broken up we decided to put it in the loft as boarding so we could get other things in there. It was the first time I’d been in the loft since we moved in so while I was up there I had a look round, I couldn’t see anything interesting at first, just something in a black bag, as I was about to get out of the loft I thought I’d take a look in this bag.

As I pulled it out of the bag I froze:

“I’ve found something”
“What?”
“…”
“What have you found?”
“It’s a gun!”
“Oh god…whatever you do, don’t fire it”

I’m glad to say I didn’t fire it, however my neighbour fired it off on the drive, which isn’t a good idea in a road which has to have a tank parked at the bottom of it.

I attempted Polaroid emulsion lift at college the other day, but my tutor started taking over and didn’t let me do any of it, this left me pissed off plus I spilt water all down myself trying to set it up, afterwards I was left to tidy up and ended up spilling more water down myself, I was soaked, then to top things off, after spending the whole day trying to get dry I came out the darkroom, turned on the tap and soaked myself again.

I’m going down to Bournemouth tomorrow to stay with my dad for a few days, hopefully I can get some photos done and some coursework too.
